We are getting CrAzY fun ideas right now

I am not sure why we are so stir CrAzY right now but we have had so many fun ideas for our classroom.  We started these with our kids this year and they have been a hit!  The students get one of each of the punch cards all hooked together on a binder ring:

They are motivated to work hard so they can earn punches on their cards for all different things: working quietly, listening the first time, keeping their area clean and neat, nice handwriting, working hard, learning their sight words... and then they earn a punch on their cards with these bad boys: Hobby Lobby has them in hearts, stars, flowers, butterflies.... the kids love them!

  So much fun!! We included a blank card that is editable for any specific ones you want to create.  The sight words card is editable too.  We make one for each six weeks and punch next to the word once the child can read that word.  Check them out!  You are going to want to end the year with these!!!

Spring Break Activity

Spring Break is right around the corner~~~~~ can't you hear it calling your name?  I can.

Spring Break is a beautiful thing.  And this a wonderful activity that your students will LOVE to do over spring break.  Since they LOVE Pete the Cat so much they love taking "Flat Cat" (same concept as Flat Stanley) with them on their fun filled spring break activities.  The best part is it keeps the little brain moving with all the great writing each day of where Flat Cat got to go.  The students arrive back the Monday after Spring Break so excited to tell you about where they took Flat Cat.  Check it out here.  It's one of my top 3 favorite activities the kids do each year.  Check out the great comments on TPT by other teachers that have use it and loved it!

Computer Games

We recently were able to add a 2nd trip to the computer lab every week. We are super excited because now we can teach literacy one time and math the other. Now, we need ideas of websites the students can access during these times. Here are the ones we already use:
